Why did we start Project ReFlex?
Project ReFlex was created to address a growing environmental issue in urban areas, particularly in Gurgaon. Flex banners, which are commonly used for advertising, are typically made from non-biodegradable PVC. While these banners are eye-catching and effective in promoting businesses, they contribute to significant long-term waste when discarded.

With most of these banners only being used for a few days, they accumulate rapidly in urban landscapes, becoming a major environmental concern.

Recognizing this challenge, we launched Project ReFlex to find sustainable ways to repurpose discarded flex banners. By transforming this waste into functional, eco-friendly products, we aim to reduce environmental harm while promoting a culture of reusing materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.

Our values
At the heart of our mission are two core values: promoting environmental and social sustainability. We advance environmental sustainability by repurposing discarded flex banners into eco-friendly products, reducing waste and giving non-biodegradable materials a new life. At the same time, we uphold social sustainability by empowering lower-income women tailors, dedicating 90% of our revenue to support their livelihoods and skills development. Through these efforts, we strive to create a balanced and lasting impact on both the planet and its people.

Our Partners
To help scale our community impact & our production, we have partnered with NGOs that work with women tailors from underprivileged backgrounds. This partnership is vital to ensuring that we can scale our production while also empowering women and promoting gender equality. By incorporating their skills into our production process, we’re able to provide meaningful employment opportunities while supporting the overall mission of Project ReFlex. Together, we aim to create a sustainable future for both the planet and the people who rely on our work.
